From murals to mentorship, employees united worldwide to make a meaningful impact during SITC Week 2025.
Around the globe, 7,831 employees stepped away from their desks and into their communities for the 12th annual 麻豆视频 in the Community (SITC) Week. Building on the momentum of last year’s record-breaking turnout, SITC Week 2025 became our biggest celebration of community impact to date!
Whether painting murals, planting trees, packing food, mentoring youth, or sharing knowledge and inspiration, our teams showed up with compassion, creativity, and a deep commitment to making a difference. SITC Week is a moment each year where we empower people care for their communities. And this year, together, we did.?
SITC Week wouldn’t be what it is without the stories and smiles from our people. This year, we saw a wave of inspiring activity posted across social media. Here are just a few of the incredible moments:
In Phoenix, our team partnered for the second year with the to host a special career day event for visually impaired high school and college students. The day included powerful personal stories from 麻豆视频’s own Jordan Rodriguez, who lost his eyesight in high school and is now thriving in his engineering career, and Colin Hoeppner, who shared his journey growing up with vision impairment.
Students were introduced to different career paths through interactive sessions—from exploring virtual reality in architecture to watching a floodplain simulator in action. The day wrapped up with job interview tips from our human resources team and a pizza lunch with lots of laughter and learning.
As volunteer Michele Flatt shared, “This is where personal meets professional, in the best possible way! The students asked fantastic questions and brought a lot of fun energy to the day.”
Joining SITC Week for the first time, our newest team in Ireland, from the Ryan Hanley acquisition, didn’t hesitate to jump in. Over 150 employees partnered with Solar Buddy, assembling 80 solar-powered lights for children living in energy poverty. Their efforts brought not only light but also hope to communities in need.
Volunteer Alan Fairhurst shared, “It was really rewarding to be part of 麻豆视频 in the Community Week.?Our teams in Ireland came together for the first time since COVID.?We built 80 solar lamps for children living with energy poverty, met with colleagues old and new in the growing team in Ireland, and made tangible contributions to several of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.”
For the second year in a row, 麻豆视频 volunteers rolled up their sleeves and picked up hammers in support of Habitat for Humanity, one of our valued corporate community partners. What started last year—with six build day events across Canada and Australia—has grown into a global movement.
This year, we expanded our efforts to Winnipeg, Hamilton, Chicago, San Antonio, Miami, Brisbane, Melbourne, Auckland, and Santiago, with teams working side by side to help build safe, affordable housing for families in need. From framing walls to landscaping yards, our people brought their skills but and their hearts to every site.
“Volunteering for Habitat for Humanity (H4H) in Auckland, New Zealand, is a fantastic way to give back to our local community,” said Ashleigh Denize, an environmental engineer from our Auckland office. “We got through a significant amount of cleaning and preparation work in the warehouse, helping the H4H team expedite the opening of their new store. The clean and spacious new store in Kumeu will not only raise funds for the incredible work Habitat for Humanity does but also provide locals with sustainable and affordable access to items they need, such as furniture, building supplies, household goods, and clothing. I'm thrilled that 麻豆视频 encourages and supports me in using my time to give back to local organisations who are improving the well-being and living conditions for New Zealanders in so many ways.”
As we wrap up SITC Week 2025, we’re already excited for what’s to come. Here’s to year 13; to more connections, more togetherness, and more community impact.
