A chartered geologist and geomorphologist, Emma has over 10 years of experience providing geomorphology and geohazard expertise to support engineering, design, and infrastructure projects.
Having started her career in western Canada working on terrain stability assessments for pipeline networks crossing geohazard-prone terrain, Emma has experience in both North America and the UK. She now resides in Scotland and is part of our growing UK Geohazards team.
In recent months, Emma has been using our proprietary software DebrisFlow Predictor to model landslide runout that may impact transportation corridors in mountainous areas across Scotland. This will enable our client to prioritize locations to mitigate and protect their infrastructure.
When she isn’t working to keep people safe from hazards, Emma enjoys bike rides and walks with her family at the local beaches.
