Based in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Gabriele brings nearly three decades of rock engineering experience to her projects. She’s a passionate problem solver and has delivered work at all project stages.
Gabriele’s experience ranges from tunneling and slope stability, to rockfall hazards and foundations, applied to civil, mining, and hydro projects. In her role as a principal engineer, she provides independent technical reviews for internal and external clients. She’s also a regular speaker at conferences and a sought-after mentor for young professionals.
Outside of her rock engineering work, Gabriele enjoys playing piano, cooking, and eating together with her family. She also loves hiking and can often be found trekking up Signal Hill in St. John’s in the early morning hours to see the sun rising from the ocean.
