Nathan Gregory

Senior Aquatic Biologist

Photo of Nathan

As a team lead and biologist, Nathan draws on more than three decades of experience in assessment of aquatic and terrestrial resources. His work has taken him across British Columbia (BC), Alberta, the Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. He’s actively involved in the detailed characterization of fisheries, vegetation, and wildlife values of proposed project areas, developing site-specific impact mitigation and compensation strategies to protect and enhance these values.

Nathan has participated in the development of compensatory habitat design and construction. This includes channel relocation, riparian vegetation enhancement, in-stream habitat, and wetland habitat development. A significant component of his career has involved permitting for infrastructure under Canada’s Fisheries Act, BC’s Water Sustainability Act, as well as other applicable legislation.?

Away from his work with habitat mitigation, Nathan enjoys reading, traveling, and playing board games. He also enjoys taking his Samoyed dog, Phryne, out for walks or “sniffaris” as he likes to call them.
