Edmonton Crosswalk Mural

Our Developing Professionals Group and Employee Resource Groups create artwork in downtown Edmonton for Â鶹ÊÓƵ in the Community Week
On June 20th, 2022 members of Edmonton¡¯s Developing Professionals Group, and various Employee Resource Groups (ERG) joined employee volunteers to paint a crosswalk mural outside of Â鶹ÊÓƵ Tower. This mural represents every Â鶹ÊÓƵ ERG was painted at the start of Â鶹ÊÓƵ in the Community Week as part of a ¡®downtown beautification¡¯ project.
This is the first crosswalk mural that will be painted by an organization outside of the City of Edmonton.?

From left to right the artwork reflects the ERGs as follows:
- Persons with disabilities ERG: Addition symbols represent inclusion, various colors represent the various disabilities making up this ERG
- Pride @ Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Pride flag
- Asians @ Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Mandala
- Latinos in Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Latino textile
- Women @ Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Female silhoutte
- BLK_ERG: Various shades of brown and black (this is taken from the BLK_ERG¡¯s banner logo)
- Indigenous Connections: This represents Treaty 6, which was created to last ¡°as long as the sun shines, the grass grows and the river flows¡±
- Military and Veteran Advocates: Camo pattern
